Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Research Associate -- Pharmaceutical Analytical Testing for a limited-time engagement to support our pharmaceutical analytical testing activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in conducting analytical tests on pharmaceutical products using techniques such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), and dissolution testing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our drug quality surveillance project to ensure the quality of the US drug supply.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform analytical testing of pharmaceutical samples using HPLC, GC-MS, and dissolution testing methods.
2. Ensure accurate and reliable analysis by conducting routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments.
3. Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare analytical reports, and communicate results to project teams and stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D scientists from our partner labs..
5. Assist in troubleshooting analytical issues and implementing corrective actions to maintain laboratory compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Stay updated with advances in analytical techniques, regulations, and industry trends to support project needs effectively.
   

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field with +5 / +3 / +0 years industrial or academic experience respectively.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical analytical testing, with expertise in HPLC, GC-MS. Dissolution testing experience is desired but not required.
3. Postdoctoral candidates preferred.
4. Proficiency in operating analytical instruments such as HPLC systems, GC-MS systems.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and troubleshoot analytical challenges.
6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage projects and meet deadlines within a limited timeframe.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
