Opportunity Highlights

Our client is a $700M privately held construction company seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to oversee all phases of assigned projects from preconstruction to closeout. The ideal candidate will:

• Manage preconstruction activities, including constructability reviews, value engineering, estimating, budget control, prime contract negotiation, and schedule management.
• Lead construction phase activities such as overall project leadership, staff and client management, risk management, and document management.
• Handle subcontractor buyout, schedule management, QA/QC management, change management, submittals, RFIs, financial reporting, and project closeout.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Estimating and Budgeting: Assist in budgeting, constructability reviews, value engineering, preliminary schedules, and prime contract reviews.
• Contract Management: Understand and enforce contract documents, ensuring scope descriptions are complete and timely.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure project site safety, implement the Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), and follow all safety procedures.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee budgets, contracts, invoices, payment applications, change orders, and risk management policies.
• Quality and Schedule Management: Manage the Quality Management Manual (QMM), ensure quality standards, develop project schedules, and oversee project closeouts including final submittals and warranties.

Preferred Experience, Education, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Over 10 years in General Contractor construction, managing projects from start to completion, including DSA oversight and projects ranging from $50M – $70M.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), P6 Scheduling, and BIM.
• Strong written/verbal communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive, confidential matters.
