Image Orthodontics in San Francisco, CA is looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to enhance our dynamic team. As RDA, you will have the unique opportunity to work across diverse specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about providing top-notch patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative team setting. 

Schedule

• Full-time Positions
• Alternative Work Schedule (4/10 Schedule)
• Office is open Monday-Friday and 2 Saturdays per month

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Current CA RDA licensure
• X-Ray License
• BLS/CPR Certified
• Experience in Pedo and Ortho preferred
• An outgoing and friendly personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proven record of excellent attendance and punctuality, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.
• Take dental x-rays according to dentist's orders.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (tooth brushing, flossing, etc.)
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide administrative support when necessary.
