Mulesoft/Java Engineer
Overview: Implementing Mulesoft Anypoint platform as an integration/middleware solution to their data ingestion hub. Current integrations are largely built in SSIS packages with some custom APIs. Their systems are a blend of vendor products (FICO), homegrown applications, databases (mostly SQL Server). They are migrating existing SSIS implementation and expanding data integration through Mulesoft to transmit data between these systems as a unified solution (vs. point-to-point data flows). They are about 3-4 months into the implementation, leveraging some assistance from Mulesoft, but have their own development team of 7-8 Engineers who are learning Mulesoft.

Looking for 1 mid-to-senior level Java/Mulesoft Developer with the 3-5 years of experience, strong background in Mulesoft and hands-on skills in Java development.
Someone with a background in Mulesoft Anypoint studio for creating flows, implementing business logic, etc.
Design Center and API manager (less critical)
Key component is DataWeave, between their various vendor and in house systems, there are a lot of data transformations that need to occur in the flows.
Partially on-prem and in the cloud at this point (AWS), should have experience using Cloudhub
Should have core integrations knowledge, various patterns, API security, data vulnerability in transit/at rest.
Strong Java skills are critical--their systems do not allow for many 'out of the box' connectors and plug-ins, will need to be built from scratch or customized using Java. Someone without strong experience will not be suitable for this environment.
Should have SQL experience; the SSIS logic is largely in SQL, will need to understand what is there and also generate new data manipulations using SQL (specifically stored procedures, T-SQL on SQL Server preferred, but okay with Oracle or Postgres)
Does not expect this person to come in and help with the Architecture, assessment, mapping of integrations, transformations, integration points, etc. Needs a hands-on engineer to execute.

Must Have:
Mulesoft (including Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, CloudHub)
Java
Integration patterns, best practices
Knowledge of API and data security
SQL (stored procedures, querying)

Nice to Have:
SSIS
SQL Server specifically (needs some RDBMS, pref SQL)
AWS
