Job Description

The Business Systems Manager serves as the primary responsible leader for the Business Systems department of the organization regarding systems development, support, and compliance for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead the team of Business Systems Functional Analysts work to understand business needs and incorporates best practice into the design of processes.
  • Responsible for executing the Business Systems design, testing, development, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with business process owners to develop documentation, training and overall understanding of process flow within the Business Systems in an effort to support needs.
  • Partner with external Microsoft D365 consultants to develop the ERP system, documentation, training, and overall understanding of process flow.
  • Responsible for adherence to SOX and Quality Compliance Standards related to Business Systems
  • Understand and communicate external software interface requirements to enable business processes to be conducted using 3rd party software.
  • Mentor, train, develop and assess skills of the assigned team.
  • Promotes and support continuous improvement by utilizing industry standard tools and practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Overall business understanding with the ability to analytically understand and associate data.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize & manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work through others in order to get things done.
  • Must be able to self-manage and be accountable.
  • MS Office applications including SharePoint & Visio.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in the relevant business function: i.e., Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, or Corporate/Customer Service.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft D365 development process
  • Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation(RPA)
  • 3 years’ experience in a people leader role.
  • User training experience is desired
