Job Description

Job role : HTML/CSS Developer

Duration : 3 months

Location : Remote

I want to start a separate thread and begin interviewing candidates for an HTML/CSS developer. Here's the scope of work I have so far:

Assess the Developer Took Kit (DTK) capabilities that come with our CMS, Granicus, which we hope to use for custom microsites. This assessment will determine future projects.
Develop custom tools on Fremont.gov for sorting and filtering content using the DTK
Develop an accessible structure for website components
Knowledge of and experience with meeting WCAG 2.2 or Section 508 accessibility guidelines in development
Bonus but not required: Object Oriented User Experience knowledge

Notes:

When you use Granicus you're using their widgets. Don't know enough about the system so need a resource to help. Example: Will they be able to make a custom css? Don't know enough about the development process within the css
Developing microsites
Making sure they compliant with accessibility (WCAG 2.2)
Granicus will be responsible for accessibility
They purchased the developer toolkit as part of their license with Granicus (CMS specific to public sector)
One of their team members built a customer table that sorts and filters for agenda center
Hard to, know what the scope will be until they know what the capabilities are
