A large Recycling company in the Westend of Louisville is in need of a Gate Guard on 2nd shift. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 2pm to 10pm. Will be inspecting incoming and outgoing vehicles for proper load content. Verify BOLs Log incoming and outgoing deliveries. Answering telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed. Will be monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employee, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of building. Patrol industrial premises to prevent and detect signs of Intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, or machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Must have reliable and dependable transportation.
