Job Description:
Position: First Shift Production Supervisor
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Shift: First Shift (Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and occasional Saturdays
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of production line workers on the canning line during the first shift.
* Ensure the efficient and confidential operation of the canning line, consistently meeting production targets and quality standards.
* Monitor and maintain equipment in a discreet manner, promptly addressing any technical issues or breakdowns to minimize disruptions.
* Confidentially train and develop production line staff, emphasizing the importance of adherence to safety and operational protocols.
* Oversee confidential inventory management, ordering materials as needed to maintain production without revealing sensitive information.
* Collaborate with other departments while preserving the confidential nature of projects, processes, and information.
* Implement and uphold strict confidentiality surrounding safety guidelines, fostering a culture of trust and security among the team.
* Provide confidential reporting on production metrics and contribute to initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (a Bachelor's degree in a related field is an advantage).
* Extensive experience in a confidential supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of canning and production line operations, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
* Outstanding leadership and communication skills while ensuring the utmost discretion.
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges while maintaining confidentiality.
* Ability to work effectively in a discreet, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to confidentiality in safety protocols.
* Flexibility to work during the first shift and occasional overtime with the highest regard for discretion.
