As a Customer Service Center Associate (Records Program Associate - Entry) at the Department of Financial Institutions, you will utilize your excellent communication and data entry skills to assist and respond to customer inquiries regarding program services offered by the agency.
This full-time permanent position is headquartered at the Hill Farms State Office Building on the near west side of Madison. We are also conveniently located close to the restaurants, shopping, and entertainment of the Hilldale Mall . The hours of work for this position are 7:45am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Following the initial training period, this position may be eligible to work a hybrid schedule with up to a few days per week working remotely.

In position, you will be responsible for processing and managing public records of all types of organizational and business documents submitted to the division as required by state statutes. This will include accurately assessing and applying filing, recording and service fees, endorsing accepted documents, and preparing communications to detail observations in documents submitted for filing. You will provide assistance to customers of the division via various channels including by phone, email, in person visitors and respond to inquiries related to the multiple programs administered by the division. Associates will need to sufficiently interpret and relay information regarding processes, statutes and regulations using procedural and technical resources to our customers.
This position is in schedule-range (02-11) with an hourly salary of $21.66 per hour, plus excellent benefits . A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Certain positions within this Department may allow hybrid/work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit. It is not anticipated that working outside of Wisconsin (or bordering cities) will be allowed because of the business need to come to the office in Madison, WI multiple days per week.
