Key Responsibilities: As a Civil or Environmental Engineer Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, recycled water, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Leading the preparation of feasibility studies, master plans, basis of design studies, and contract documents.
- Providing bid support and construction management services for water and other infrastructure projects.
- Assembling and managing multi-disciplinary project teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Preparing and reviewing project technical reports and deliverables.
- Coordinating with client representatives, regulatory stakeholders, and technical subconsultants.
- Managing construction-phase engineering support, including submittal reviews, change order requests, and dispute resolutions.
- Performing and managing design and construction field observation activities.
- Supporting the preparation of proposals and building trusted client relationships.
- Ensuring projects meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
- Providing leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: 7-15 years of relevant experience in managing water, wastewater, recycled water, and/or stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Licensing: Professional Civil Engineer license in California.
- Skills: Proven experience in developing technical work products, strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to technical details.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits: - Salary Range: $105,000 - $170,000 annually, plus bonus, depending on skills, experience, education, and location.
