Job Description

Seeking a Sales Professional with Distributor experience in the chemical or CASE related industry to join a leading supplier in Pigments, Additives and Coatings for construction, personal care, food & beverage, among other areas.

This is a remote role with travel. The person selected will be the recipient of a well-established territory and be provided with an existing book of business. While most of the travel will remain within the southern California area (day trips), intermittent travel throughout the rest of California is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Responsible for accounts and evaluating opportunities for new business growth
* Create and execute short, medium, and long-term customer growth strategies
* Effectively use and update CRM and other platforms to record customer and sales information
* Visiting current customers and prospective customers within the territory. Attend industry trade shows and marketing events throughout the year.
* Strong skills in conducting formal presentations and collaborating with individuals and teams at all levels.

Requirements:

* Must reside in California. Southern California is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years sales experience within the area of CASE products and ingredients
* Must have experience working directly for a Distributor. Strong Distributor and Supplier knowledge and experience within the chemical industry.
* Available to travel at least 50% within the territory
* Bachelor's degree highly preferred
