The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Business Insurance Agent - Mid-Level to join our Commercial Lines department in a remote, contact center environment. This is a full-time, hourly position with the following training and work schedules:

Training Schedule: Monday - Friday for 13-15 weeks, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM CST (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST)
In this role, you will assist business owners with their insurance needs and risk management strategies. Using a comprehensive suite of Commercial Insurance Products, you'll tailor solutions to meet each client's unique risk profile.

What You'll Do:

Serve as a consultative partner for clients, using your expertise to provide effective insurance solutions.
Ensure compliance with insurance standards and maintain accurate documentation to minimize Errors & Omissions (E&O) exposure.
Classify client businesses and offer risk management strategies, leveraging your understanding of B2B sales cycles.
Conduct account reviews and provide consultative advice based on clients' risk profiles.
Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to enhance your technical knowledge.
Utilize Agency Management Systems and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to efficiently select products and carriers.
Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and manage endorsements, renewals, and re-markets.
Calculate accurate Insurance to Value (ITV) for diverse property types, ensuring precise replacement values.
Deliver exceptional service to clients regarding policy changes, renewals, and record updates.
Engage affluent clients and business owners, offering a concierge-level service for complex accounts.
Identify and manage risks in accordance with compliance policies.
What You Have:

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
2 years of insurance sales and service experience, including 1 year in a high-value or commercial insurance agency.
Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for your home state, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.
Experience handling high net worth clients and sensitive information.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
What Sets You Apart:

4+ years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance account management, including writing new business.
Direct experience quoting and binding with clients.
Familiarity with Agency Management Systems and/or Salesforce.
Experience in a multi-carrier environment.
Active Property and Casualty General Lines License for your home state.
