Job Description

Required Location: Hybrid/Midtown New York City or TROY MI / 3 days a week.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to support our banking and Azure DevOps projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the banking industry strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of Azure DevOps tools and methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify business needs analyze processes and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct comprehensive business process analysis to identify inefficiencies gaps and opportunities for improvement within banking operations and DevOps practices.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed business and technical requirements ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain clear and detailed documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) user stories and process flow diagrams.
  • Azure DevOps Integration: Work closely with development and IT teams to integrate Azure DevOps tools and practices facilitating continuous integration delivery and deployment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders providing regular updates on project progress gathering feedback and ensuring buyin for proposed solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage project tasks using Azure DevOps and other project management tools ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools to extract manipulate and analyze data providing actionable insights to inform decisionmaking.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within banking operations and DevOps workflows to enhance efficiency reduce risks and ensure compliance.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Lead workshops and meetings to drive consensus gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments develop mitigation strategies and monitor risk management efforts to ensure ongoing project success.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on new processes tools and best practices in banking operations and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field. Masters degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry.
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps including continuous integration delivery and deployment practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira Confluence MS Project and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and other process visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP CCBA) or Project Management (e.g. PMP PRINCE2).
  • Experience with other DevOps tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the banking industry.
